Feeling Supported and Provided For

Counting the ways I am supported and provided for by the earth.

Our Unconditional Loving Mother

The curandera that I learn from, Tonita Gonzales, has taught me so much about life and healing and love and the earth. One of the things that she says is that Mother Earth teaches us unconditional love. We take her for granted and treat her like shit and still she provides for us. She provides air for us to breath, water for us to drink, soil for us to grow our own food and so much more.

Today we devote our gratitude to our unconditional loving mother earth. Here are words of inspiration from Hiro Boga:

So, take a breath, pick up your pen, and begin by exploring this truth: List all the ways in which you are provided for. The air you breathe, the water you drink, the earth that supports and sustains you. Your beloveds. The miracle of your body; the miracle of your life. You cannot earn these, they are gifts of grace. The Deva of Provision offers them to you freely. You are provided for in ways you cannot begin to imagine. And yet, being human, we forget. We forget that provision is a soul quality, one that resides in our DNA.

What a beautiful opportunity to practice gratitude for all of these ways that we are supported and provided for. We open up to this knowing and sink into the resulting feelings of safety and comfort. Allowing. Receiving. Loving. Being loved.
