Growing Your Intuition

This simple intuition practice helped changed my life.

Trusting Your Inner Knowing

Do you find yourself distracted by the noise of stress, fears, the overwhelming voices and information on social media, concerns about what others think, and ruminating thoughts? At the end of last year I found myself really pulled this way and that with all of these distractions. But a lot of that shifted when I made a commitment to reconnect with my inner knowing. Almost immediately after making that commitment my intuition drove me to start a daily intuition practice. It is really simple and needs no supplies and virtually no time.

Every morning after my shower I put my hand on my heart and audibly whisper, “I accept myself. I am grateful for who I am.”

I followed through and began this practice and my intuition became much more substantial. It became truly embodied. I noticed when my body moved towards and away from things and people. There was a subtle but clear pull that I hadn’t been attuned to before. I think it had been there all along but it was drowned out with all those distractions. That simple daily ritual cued me in to my inner knowing.

I began to act in small and big ways, following this pull of my body. And each action had a big positive result. There was something very powerful in this simple practice of self-acceptance and self-gratitude. I don’t have all the answers as to why it works. But I know it works. Every morning as I place my hand on my heart and whisper these beautiful acknowledgements I am recalibrating my compass and clearing away the dust that blurs the view of my path.

Give it a try for yourself. Take five seconds every morning to practice your intuition in this simple way then reply or post on our site and tell me how it is working for you.
