Change Your Mind in Five – a Gratitude Meditation

Unplug. Breathe. Take a Few Minutes Just For You.

This time of year can get hectic. We are pulled in many directions with work and family and friends and events. Preserving traditions and making our own traditions. Adapting to celebrating the holidays without those who have left us. Sometimes we are an after-thought. Let’s turn that around and make ourselves the priority.

When things get stressful or emotions are heightened take a five minute break and discover the gratitude that is there waiting for you. This five minute audio meditation will guide you. So, find some place where you can be alone, close the door, push play and slow your roll.

What gratitude came to light when you took a few minutes to meditate?

LEARNING: I have been sharing daily gratitude questions during the month of November and I just realized this week how answering the question often gave me ideas for the next day’s question. This is one of those things that makes a gratitude practice contagious. How do we make use of this inspiration? This realization has me imagining a gratitude journal where you write what you are grateful for and then afterwards you write a gratitude question you will answer tomorrow. What a cool concept!

FORGOTTEN GRATITUDE: The beautiful loving gratitude my girlfriend shared about me to my family … My fancy new mirrorless camera and lens, a completely indulgent gift to myself; I guess it’s a bonus since I bought it through the business … My hair stylist moving to a cheaper salon.
